The ONE Team Management System

Shawn Slusser
The ONE Team Management System — an outer “Culture” ring (expected behaviors for trust & shared ownership) around three connected elements: Clarity (shared vision, strategy & measurable goals), System (execution frameworks & operating cadence), and Execution (shared priorities & actions tied to measurable outcomes). The ONE Team Management System diagram annotated with metaphors: Clarity as a compass for direction, System as tools for scaling, Execution as orchestrated actions, and Culture as human behaviors.

Are you a leader with a talented team, but still struggling to align, execute, and scale results?

I learned that scaling large global teams and driving transformational results requires more than strategy alone.

It requires a system.

The ONE Team Management System I’ve used focuses on four connected elements:

  • Clarity — shared vision, strategy & measurable goals
  • System — execution frameworks & operating cadence
  • Execution — shared priorities & actions tied to outcomes
  • Culture — trust, transparency & shared ownership

This model was shaped through years of leading large, diverse global organizations and scaling revenue beyond $1B.

One thing I’ve learned:

Most organizations do not fail because they lack talent. They struggle because they lack alignment and a repeatable way of working together.

I’ve also developed a set of “stress test” questions for each part of the model that leaders can use to identify execution gaps and improvement opportunities inside their own organizations.
